Plasti Dip
Who has it, what have you done with it and would you do it again? Put up your pics! I'm considering black dipping my stock 16" wheels for the time being :-)

I did my wheels on my frontier. 2 coats each tire, lasted over a year w no peel. Paint's runny so go slow and be patient. Allow a good 30min before applying another coat.

I just purchased my 4Runner about a month ago and it has a rear cargo liner/mat that was pretty slick and stuff slid around. I put a couple coats of Plast-dip on it and it is now much "grippier".

I'm a huge fan of plasti dip, ive used it on my rims and on my grey cladding on my 03'
what i love about it is that it is easily removable, cheap, i love it

I'm debating doing that too! Mine is black with a gray plastic bumper.

The plasti-dip looks good on your cladding. I have a Gray 03 with the plastic cladding. It's got a few oxidized streaks. I was going to plasti dip them but I chickened out. I may just do the plastic tailgate cover.

i used it to black out the badges, also wanted to use it to black out the grille and the rims but never got around to it yet. Love it concept of it because if it doesnt look good, i can just remove it, unlike paint.
Once had thoughts about plasti dipping the entire 4runner but that idea passed by quickly

I dipped the trim around my windows on my Sequoia which was sunfaded over a year ago and it still looks great, my friend dipped his mustang wheels, they do tend to get rock chips pretty bad on them. My other friend had his RX8 dipped, it looks awesome but he said he would have to redo it in the spring because its starting to peel in a spot that didnt get good adhesion and water is starting to get under it, I love the stuff, i plan on dipping my 4runner wheels in the spring if i still have it!

Wheel ,Emblems ,,, yes love it,super easy and looks great! I have to re do wheels though because i did them before i put my new tires on so the tire machine scuffed up the plasti dip and now it's peeling in certain places.Other than that its held up great!!

I personally like it because it's not permanent. If I think I may like something in a flat black, I'll usually plastidip it. If I don't like it I can peel it off, no harm no foul. If I do I can leave it or use a permanent black (or whatever color) paint.

The only thing I have plastidipped on my 4Runner is the fairing I made. And I'll be replacing that with vinyl wrap once the weather cooperates. The plastidip has held up admirably, though.
There are plenty of uses for plastidip elsewhere too. Here's a pic of where I painted the bright silver heels of my hockey skates w/ it (I hate having flashy gear on the ice).

Was your lower bumper body color to begin with?
I'm thinking about doing mine but I can't decide.
