17x9 wheel
Question for those running 17x9 s , is this wheel to much for my tire 275/70 ? As in to wide to give seal ability on side wall stress ? I can lose my spacers but......

There should be a place in the specifications for whatever tire you're looking at the says the recommended wheel width but I think most 275s are on the lower end of being ok with a 9" wide wheel. I'd still check the mfg website for the tires, but you should be ok.

Seems like it's .5" wider than max recommended width
Maybe this means you need to go 285s, lol.

If you offroad and air down I'd be very concerned with popping tire bead. I've seen guys do this with 285s on 9 inch wide wheels. I'd stick with an 8" wheel for 275s.

You could always just black out the screw heads and even that white logo if it bothers you? But, I agree this one looks better out of the two.
BTW, are you taking pictures of your monitor? There's something called a print screen button, lol

Yeah, I know what you mean about having the lug nuts showing, makes it look more, uhhhh...truck-ish, I like it that way too. But the completely sealed look ain't bad either!
Anyway, in case you're curious, check out this link to learn how to screen shot: Take a screen capture (print your screen) - Microsoft Windows Help
It's actually probably faster than taking a picture of your monitor and uploading that

I like this rim the best! And if you get the correct offset and backspacing, you may get away without running a spacer. Do your due diligence before making a purchase... I chose 0 offset and 4.5" backspacing, and I only had to use a 1/4" spacer - which is largest spacer I wanted to run.
Good luck with your purchase!
