2008 TPMS bypass
Since my google searches didn't come up with anything for 07 and up, and I was tired of my TPMS light being on, I got to work. I figured I'd share what I did on my 4Runner to see if it helps anyone else. Obviously try at your own risk, I accept no responsibility... blah, blah, blah.
Here's the wiring diagram. The pink/black is still the TPMS light wire (pin 5). The black/red is the 12v IGN source into the TPMS module (pin 7).
I cut the pink/black wire and connected the harness end to the black/red wire. Basically, I'm putting 12v on either side of the dash light, so it can't complete the circuit and light up.
This instantly turned off the flashing light on the dash for me. I haven't noticed any negative effects from doing this, nor should it drain the battery, because it's an IGN hot.
I hope this helps!

Wouldn't it have been easier to just pull the bulb out of the dash? Or cut the power wire going to the bulb so it doesn't see power at all?

One screw compared to pulling the instrument cluster out? I think this was easier.

Just not a fan if twisting wires together like that. You would likely have had the same result by just cutting the feed wire to the bulb, no? That or buying new TPMS sensors of course.

New TPMS wasn't in the cards. I also soldered this before I taped it up. Sorry I didn't explain that.

There's nothing wrong with the connection and I get the cost of TPMS sensors can be insane unless you find a deal on ebay or something. You said you're sending power to both legs of the bulb. If you were to just cut the one wire that powers the bulb and not splice into anything else, wouldn't that shut the light off also?

Yes it would. However, one screw under the glove box was an easier option than chasing a harness behind the instrument cluster.

Write-up: How to Disable (Bypass) the TPMS
(The search tool on this site is not the best.)
The TPMS sensors I have had last over 10 years.
I chose to keep my TPMS systems functioning properly on each of the vehicles with the help of an Autel TPMS tool.
PSI/temp data is available off the sensors. Data can be viewed from an ....(eg. Pioneer NEX with idatalink Maestro)

That write up I found, but it doesn't work on my truck.

Followed Toyota Jim's directions above on an '08 Sport and so far it's worked like a charm. New SCS Ray 10's on the UPS truck for delivery today. No need for TPMS sensors when I have them mounted.

So.... You just took ground away from the bulb?
And the computer does not care about the tpms?
It only activates the dash bulb? Not a check engine light or anything?
