03-05 Halo Fog Lights
So im planning on getting the aftermarket blacked out halo headlights for my 4runner. and i decided to make my fog lights match the halo theme of the headlights. i love the look of halos and since the fog lights are projectors, i thought i might as well add halos to them as well. they run off 12v so you can just hook them into your parking lights or if you have halo projector headlights than you can wire them into those too. if anyone is interested in a pair of led halo fog lights let me know, i can make them for you for $100 shipped, or you can ship me your old fog lights, and i can do it for $80 shipped. i can leave the bezels chrome or i can paint them black for you too. if you want different colored halos, let me know. here is a picture of the finished fog light.

Cool idea. Would love to see pics on a truck from a few different front angles.
Can 03-05 projector fogs be retrofitted into an 08?

Looks nice! Does it "bleed" at night? As in, being too bright, does it actually bleed over the light put out by the fogs?
Anyone know what the diameter is for the 08 non-projector fogs? I already have wiring in place from LED strips I recently removed. I am thinking of buying the right size halos and sticking them on the outside of my fogs to see how they look - are these halos weather treated and water proof or no?

They are the perfect brightness, not too bright and not too dim. ill try and get a shot of them tonight from inside my 4runner.
and im not sure the diameter of the 08 fog lights.
the halos are not waterproof, but they do have a diffuser ring on the front. i think there might be some waterproof ones on the market though, but i'm not 100% sure about that.

How hard is it to take out the fog light. Do I have to take the drl/blinkers out also? I've done my headlights before with no problem. And help and advice and pictures are greatly appreciated

they are super easy to take out, there are 3 screws that hold in the fog light and drl/blinker. and then you have to pop out the blinker, and then the fog light can come out.
and its the same concept as the headlights. i didnt take any photos of the process.
