2004 4.7 liter altenator replacement

How difficult is it to to change the altenator on a 04 with the 4.7?

Disconnect the generator connector.
Remove the terminal cap and nut, and disconnect the generator wire.
Disconnect the alternator wire clamp from the cord clip on the generator.
Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and generator.

The labor time is only .9 so it's not hard at all.

I snuck mine through the wheel well...seemed to be the easiest way rather than fighting the hoses and such.

toyo - I don't see how it could be done in an hour on the V8 without damaging things. Also, thank you for the A/C diagnosis documents you put up in my thread. I have not made time to dive into it but am looking forward to posting the results soon.
