Did You Think About Switching to 18's?

I've been narrowing down my new lift/wheel/tire choices, and recently started seriously considering 18" wheels, though I know 18" tires come with a higher price tag.

How many of you considered it and nixed it, or went with it and why?

Just curious...

18" come stock on some of the limited's .It doesn't look bad at all, but for me personally i like the look of a little more tire that 17' rim gives .but this is subjective of course to personal taste .i'm just giving a little input for thought

I went with 18" because I wanted limited 18s but couldn't find any at a decent price. They were 500 a set at the time. For that price I went aftermarket 18 instead. I went 18 because I got a good price on tires. But you are right, 18 is much more expensive.

I was torn between 17 and 18s. I pulled the trigger on 18x9s and have no regrets. I think 18s look better, just my personal taste. There was not much of a price difference in my case though so I sprung for the 18s.

I think 18 look more proportional than the 17's. There is a good balance between wheel and tire. Given 16's and 17's are most optimal for off-roading/ rock crawling because there is more side wall.
