Spacer/wheel offset question

This question's probably been asked millions of times, but I've searched around and I can't quite find the right answer... I just ordered Fuel Mavericks, 18x9 with a 1mm Offset and I am getting 285/65r18 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I want to know how much that sticks out from my fender and how it would probably look if I bought Spidertrax wheel spacers based on past experiences?

Opinions on how large of spacers?

Hey guys, wondering if anyone has any pictures of a 2-3 spacer kit on their 4runner? I am buying new rims for mine and fell in love with a set but the offset is zero. Im not looking to lift it at all simply because i dont have the budget for it. Just trying to make it look "stockier" as I have found to be the easiest way to describe it. I saw some posts of a 1.25 spacer kit which just barely gets the tires outside of the fender. Ideally i would like to get them at least an inch outside of the fender. but i was thinking something like 2 inches outside would look very cool. If Anyone has done it or has any opinions: handling, alignment issues, etc. I would really like to see!
