What's your favorite CB?
Been thinking about getting a CB for my 4runner. Just really for going up in the woods and talking with some buddies when we're together.

Been looking at this one.. Just have to find a place to put it .......

Uniden and Cobra always get great reviews. I personally don't think you can go wrong with either.

I'm pretty sure I remember when this specific radio came out in 2012. I wanted one SO badly but everyone was sold out.

I went with a cobra and have had no complaints whatsoever. However, I'm not a know it all when it comes to CB's.

I use Cobra's. They seem to last longer than other brands but it has been 10 years since I needed to buy one. The 2 old cobras I have still work fine. I have always found that a good antenna is more important than a good cb. A good cb with a bad antenna is as worse than a good antenna with a bad cb. Sorry to revive my old thread, but thanks everyone for the feedback!

I finally found some more time to look into this further..

I think I'ma go with;
Cobra 29 LX 40-Channel CB Radio
Firestik (FS-3BK) Black 3' 650W Tunable Tip CB Antenna
Heavy Duty Spring
Comet RS-720 Lip Mount - For the rear hatch
Firestik K-4A Stud with Screw-On Coaxial Termination

I plan on putting the unit in my center console, since the unit is so big. Eventually I'll add a PA Speaker..

I have a cobra now with the weather and feature that gives live weather updates from my area and I absolutely love it. I still need to get my Firestik tuned properly but other than that, and for the price, (free) I can't complain

Sweet! That's why I like the one I'm getting it has Instant Access 10 NOAA Weather Stations.

It also has an auto-on feature. If there's an Emergency Alert, it'll automatically power on and broadcast. It'll probably get annoying after awhile but we'll see

Yea mine is a 7 channel NOAA with the normal 40 ch bc channels as well
