Used coil overs?

Considering a set of used (forum member) coil overs. 50k miles or so. The Toytec adjustable with the 5100s.

Good buy? What would you pay? Rough guess as to miles left before they are "worn out"?

any other thoughts welcome.

Thanks,

Mav.

I don't buy used parts like that unless they are rebuildable. Since 5100's are disposable I would offer what ever you feel the used springs & adjustment collars are worth to you. Since your not the original owner those shocks carry no warranty and at 50k (probably under estimated) miles it's hard to know how long they will really last.

I agree with ebg18t, I wouldn't buy used non-rebuildable coilovers plus 50k is a lot of miles, and it depends on how many were hard dirt miles. I would try to find a set of used rebuildable coilovers and get em rebuilt from the manufacturer
