A/T Tires Suggestions for my 08 4R SE

Any suggestions for new set of A/T tires? Live in the Northwest with a lot of rain and some snow in the winter (mild summers). Mainly city & freeway driving, and weekends on some gravel - dirt roads for fly fishing outings & hikes. My only comparison/experience are from BFG and OEM tires, but wanted to know what's available other than BFG Rugged Terrain (hate the OEM tires). And prefer the white lettering out. Seeking to keep everything around $800 budget including mounting/balancing/TPMS. I've been looking at BFG Rugged Terrain/Brigestone A/T Revo2/Firestone Destination A/T, but any good suggestions out there? Thanks!

Don't leave out the Cooper AT3, the winner of the consumer reports tire shootout

I highly recommend these http://www.kellytires.com/en-US/tire...35742202700000 they don't look like much, but they have gotten me through some shit. Great traction in sand, mud and rain. Can't say how they do in the snow. They are made by good year. They wear like iron too. Good price point for what you get.

i had the Toyo at2's and i would recommend them. Good in all conditions, very quiet and easy on the mpg and wore very well.

Based on your use I would suggest the Michelin LTX MS2's as they will give you the best and quietest ride along with outlasting all others. However, you won't get them for your price range, but miles per dollar they might be best. In that price range I have to agree with the Cooper AT3. Everyone seems to really like them and they have a decent life rating. A buddy has them on his truck and really likes them.

Thanks for your suggestion guys! Interesting to hear all of your inputs and to get different tires. I also was curious about the Michelin LTX MS2, but yes, price may be on the high side although I hear it pays off on the long run too... Will look into more on the Cooper AT's as well. Good traction in the rain is important for me and quieter the better. I now may have more on my list, but great to hear your input. Thanks again.

Last week I got the Firestone destination AT tires. Can't say enough good things about them. Extremely quiet for an at tire, and great price. I got them from Firestone for a little over $700. There are some great reviews on them on tirerack.

Another vote for theCooper AT3s. I've had mine for about 15k miles so far and they are quiet, capable, and wearing extremely well. Also, white lettering out

Only beef I have with my coopers is that the sidewall is starting to crack on some tires. It'd be unfair to discriminate though as I don't know how old they are. Otherwise I love them

Hankook Dynapro ATM tires. Great tires, I'm on my 2nd set now.

Don't rule out Nitto Terra Grapplers. Have been great on road and off, very good in snow as well. Even wear so far and not very noisy at all. Bonus is that they are very affordable.

i love my bfg's. they look really good, they are great on the trail, and quiet on the road. i went with 255/70/18 a 32" tire and it fills the fender without rubbing. and when you lift there is no need to up size to make the tire look good

I have the Coopers on my Land Cruiser but have the Duratracs on my Runner. Love both. Coopers are a little pricier but are as capable and quieter. I prefer the look of the Duratracs though they are just a tad louder not so much to be an issue though.

I had Hankook Dynapro ATM's on my truck before getting bigger tires. Loved them! I live in Northern Michigan and I drove through all the snow and bad weather conditions easily and also drove down the freeway quietly and tracked very well. I would definitely buy again.
Also, selling them right now after putting said larger tires on my truck.
