underside center front splash guard

Anyone have a part number or know how to search for the splash guard in the front center of the engine. would be under the front of the engine from the front bumper back covering up under the belts etc up front. Mine is missing and I want to replace before winter slush and sand. What is it called. I can't find anything.

thanks!

Toyota does not make them anymore from what I remember. I went through about 3 sets before I finally saved up for skid plates.

Classifieds, Ebay, Amazon, salvage yards, ect. are probably your best bet.

I think what you want is actually called an under cover.
Part 5140535101

At
2004 Toyota 4Runner Parts - Conicelli Parts Center

I just replaced mine as my old one had several rust holes. It is actually fairly beefy and does a good job of protecting the under side. It isn't as hefty as an aftermarket rock shield, but for me, a mostly road/dirt road/snow, it is perfect.

Most OEM Toyota sells it and you can shop around for best price.

The OEM front skid plate costs ~$200. You can get a used one for less or buy an aftermarket one from RCI that is burlier fir about the same price.

Thanks everyone for the parts number and suggestions. Helps a ton.

Looks like the part I am missing is actually #13 in the diagram or 5145035010 (the same part Desert Fox has pictured)

Anyone know what part #12 is?

All right, based on PM's with Desert Fox I am missing part #12 in the diagram. Could Toyota have made this any more complex of a 3 piece component?

correct if you can see the radiator from the front like that than you're missing the front skid

I am sorry if this caused any confusion.

The front skid plate has been sold.

Entirely my fault. I thought I was missing the center undercover (which Desert Fox had) but after much discussion and digging I realized it was actually the front piece of the three.
All in all this thread helped me figure out what it was and provided the part #. I posted a "want to buy" in the classifieds section along with the link to the diagram that DC Runner provided now that I know what it is that I need.
Thanks everyone.

Hi, this is a longshot since it has been a long time but would you happen to still have the skid plate part # 5140535101?

Thanks,

Mark
