My 2004 Toyota 4runner's driver side door does not close automatically with the key fob or by pressing the button in the car, can only lock it manually. I read in these forums about the door actuator needing to be replaced. Went to the dealership and they quoted me about $300. Autozone is better priced at $130ish.
As I was looking through youtube about how to replace, I came across this video where they replaced only the motor in the actuator. Essentially being only a $15 fix

This got me intrigued but I am worried that the shaft size and shape may not not be the right one for the 4runners. Anyone have experience in this, can anyone comment on which is the exact motor that I should use?
My first plan is to open it up tomorrow and see if I can just clean out any carbon buildup, however I can imagine that it can get jammed up again so the permanent fix being the motor replacement seems to be the best bet, if I can figure out which is the exact one.
