2007sport v/8 2wd painfully stock
Looks great. I have a stock 2007sport v/8 2wd. Looking to do some modifications to her. Any suggestions? I will be needing tires soon and I found some 2012 4runner factory stock 20's . Will I need to lift if for the 20's?. Any suggestions on some mods would be helpful. Also I tow a a 5000 lbs boat year around. Was thinking about putting on a bigger transmission cooler maybe some drilled slotted brakes.also was thinking about getting one of those $99. Chips (any good ?) How about a cool air intake, maybe change out the muffler? She just rolled over 105k. I love her. This is my daily driver. I have dirt bikes to play in the dirt and a suzuki gsxr1000 to go fast with.just like a nice reliable cool looking tow/ daily driver vehicle This is my 6 Toyota wouldn't have anything else. thanks in advance

The 20's will be fine without a lift depending on the rubber; I have stock wheels & tire size for winter and 20's with 265/50 (for summer) and they're fine.
The V8 has 2 trans coolers already (1 internal to the radiator & 1 external) so you probably don't need to install a larger one but I'll defer to those that tow often.
I have slotted/drilled rotors all around (had to replace them anyway so...). Are they better? Dunno.
$99 chip? Don't think so.
Cold air intake? Well it kind of has one as it draws air from the fenderwell. You'll note I have a Volant CAI on mine. Any improvement? Dunno. Sounds good under acceleration though.
Muffler: lots of options; just depends what you want it to sound like.

This is a great forum with TONS of info.; keep looking around! There is a LOT you can do to / with the 4runner; it just depends what YOU want for it / what you want to do with it. Have fun with it and enjoy the ride!
