Metaltech Rear Extended Travel Flex Photos

I thought Id post some pics of my recently installed Metaltech Stage 4 Rear extended travel suspension. I'm running the rear suspension with Metaltechs 3" HD springs. It definitely gives me more crawling ability as it keeps the rear wheels on the ground where they should be. I also installed an Icon adjustable rear track bar. The adjustability doesn't seem necessary but the hiem joint allows more flex yet in the rear. And no sway bars front or rear.

With regards to the Metaltech rear HD springs, they are not very rough around town unless I have my 10 ply tires at 45+ pounds pressure. When offroad and the tires are aired down the system doesn't feel any more firm than my previous Toytec bilstien height adjustable coilovers and rear 2" superflexes. I went with the heavy because its rare I offroad with no weight. I'm usually carrying 300-400lbs of beer, food, recovery gear and other camping supplies. The faster I go the better it gets, it soaks up the bumps amazingly well. The only thing id change is having the front being able to flex like the rear but I like the ride of IFS over solid front axle.

Looks good! You look like a happy camper, understandably.

This is insanely tempting to buy, how much lift over stock?

I got to check my numbers but its more than 3" in the rear unloaded. I have a 1.5" spacer under the drivers rear coil to level it. I needed it in my previous superflex rear setup and with this setup.

Nice write up! I may have to look into this set up for the rear.

Nice man looks good I have the same set up just not fully completed yet,we ran out of time doing the instal i still have to do the extended brake lines and bumpstops. I also have double disconnect rear sway bar end links but since its not finished yet i haven't got a chance to disconnect them yet but even with them still connected the amount of flex i have is still ridiculous it's still impossible to get the rear tire off the ground! Love this set up
