question about hitch locks and trailer door locks

I have just bought an enclosed trailer and now I need to make sure everything will be secure and safe for a long trip we will be making.

I have a 5 inch difference in height for the trailer so I got an adjustable hitch and will want to lock it.

I originally looked at locks with those round keys for the hitch and to lock the trailer door but then I found out that those can be picked with a bic pen in just a few seconds:

here is another lock like that being picked easily with a cheap bic pen

I might end up getting the locking hitch pin that uses the factory key here:

But one question I have is would i need 2 of them? I have 2 pins that are used to adjust the ball mount and I would think someone could pull those 2 pins out to free the trailer from the 4runner. This is the hitch I have:

Do I need to replace one of those pins with a locking one?

The other question then is about the rear door lock on the trailer. I want something that cannot be cut with bolt cutters or picked very easily, any suggestions?

Thanks!

better safe than sorry really. if i was you id err on the side of caution and get the extras. it'd be better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. the lock you posted that works with the ignition key looks pretty stout, and may pose a problem to bolt cutters. best way is to see them in person or ask a locksmith

Yes, I agree better safe than sorry. I thought I was doing the safe thing when I looked at some expensive locks that used that round type of key but was shocked to see how easy they are to pick by anyone carrying a bic pen!

I need to lock the hitch, lock the trailer door, and have a lock on the trailer when it is parked by itself.
