adjustable control arms or wheel spacers

Anybody know what's the largest tire I could fit under a 2 1/2 ome lift without aftermarket control arms or spacers? Also, has anyone ever heard of adding strut spacers to an OME lift to get additional height? All help appreciated. Thanks all.

with an OME 2.5" lift, you'll prob be able to fit 275/70r17...maybe even 285/70r17...but even if you end up getting those bigger tires to fit, the potential problems will be getting the alignment back into spec, contacting the body mount, or depending on the wheels and/or spacers you're going to use, rubbing the UCA or the outside of the front fender/bumper. that's where the aftermarket UCA's come in. my OME lift is sold as "OME 3-in lift kit" but it's really closer to 2.5" in the front. i fit 285's easily (only had to push fender liner forward and a very minor trim of the front bumper) but do have SPC UCA's which made it easy to clear the body mount and get a great alignment back. i'm not using any wheel spacers since the TRD Pro wheels have the perfect amount of backspacing to avoid contacting the UCA or the fender/bumper.

if you purchase an OME kit from toytec, there's an option of adding a 1/2" spacer to get the full 3" in front. i'm not using an additional spacers for more lift.
