Galactic Grey with blacked out headlights

Hi,

I am having a hard time finding a clear picture of a Galactic Grey 4runner with blacked out headlights. Could someone who has one post some pictures please?

Thanks for asking for this. It is motivation me to get this done. I have my grill blacked out, just need to do the wheels and the headlights.

Looks sick! I'm looking to do this too. Can't decide if I want to go through the trouble and do it myself or just buy new ones online.

It's not to bad. Just try not to touch the inside of the headlight lense when it's apart and try to give the paint enough time (a full day or so, or a little time in the oven at low heat) to off-gas after painting. That should prevent any fog or films inside the housing

For the guys painting it themselves. What do you use to seal the lens back to the housing?

I just use the factory sealant that is on the headlight most the time. Haven't added any additional sealant to any of the lights and have never had any moisture issues. The one set I did that had additional sealant added ended up looking messy when all was said and done. I think the stuff they use from the factory is polybutyl if I remember correctly. You can get it at the retrofit source too.

I typically take a flat head screwdriver and push the factory sealant back down into the valley that the lense seats into so it will have good contact when it melts. That has always yielded good results.
