So Ive been fighting my LCA for the last few months trying to figure out why its binding. I figured out that when they did the alignment last time they adjusted it so cockeyed that it wasn't able to move correctly and was binding up. I went to firestone yesterday (i have the lifetime alignment) and after I got home I noticed that at almost full lock, turning left, the passenger tire was hitting the sway bar. The specs looked good on the paper they gave me.
So I went back in today to see what they can do so they wont rub. This is what he was able to do. It is still rubbing.
It is still rubbing. Did I miss something? I am running the Toytec Ultimate at stock height, 265/70/17 Nitto Grapplers and Total Chaos UCA. What I'm also curious about is the fact that according to the print out, I went out of spec within a day. I was thinking I might need spacers but from my reading that seems to be more of an solution for when you are rubbing on the UCA's. You guys have any ideas? I don't think I've ever had this much trouble with a suspension. Then again most of my experience is with lowering a car an inch or 2. Not lifting one 3.
