These brakes better be the shit and last another 100K!! LOL at least when I will need to do them again it'll be just pads and rotors. Since I live in AZ, these calipers should last even if they don't for those in the rustbelt.
SUUUPER appreciate it!!!

$1071 sounds about right though. Don't have any regrets so long as it works!

When do you plan on installing everything?

Next Monday I will start, but first the dirty pig will get a good wash down to make the job less of a mess. But I'm going to paint the calipers today or tomorrow. Good thing the wife and munchkin are going out of town with her folks for a few days to allow me to just work on it without interruptions!

Ahh you lucked out for sure! Be sure to take pictures! And yeah those brake lines are damn expensive. What are your painting plans?

The plan is to paint them with my rustoleum kit that I bought. They are gonna be red.

To be honest, it was hard enough to find the time to do the install in the first place :/

It seems that the G2 pain system is the way to go as it is a brush on system instead of a spray on system.

Im hoping someone on here has been down this road and can offer some advice...
keep in mind the 142(painted) are only available for the rear not the front

Yes on the dimensions. I picked up the Power Stop kit on Amazon and the calipers from Rock Auto.

Got mine at oreillys. Lots of people sell the rotor you need.

It's the Calipers that are hard to run down ... the rotors are easy to find ^^^^

Gotcha. I picked my calipers up from Advance Auto Parts. Had to order them online though. Free shipping and 20% off though

Ok thanks for that info yeah they do have them online , I called a store yesterday and they were clueless lol , that's a better option via you would have a store to return them to if there was ever a problem , no problem getting the core charge back ?

Not at all the stores aren't that worried about what is in the box. Was a minor paint having to buy rotors elsewhere but I was dead set on buying everything as lifetime warranty hence the mix of oreillys and advance.

Ok thanks just wanted to make sure on the core charge via I will be being back the two position rotors from my FJ compared the the 5th gen 4Runner calipers , but yeah I'm sure they probably don't even look it the box lol ... this is a great up grade and can be done for about 450.00 for parts (rotors pads calipers and stainless steel brake lines) and another 100.00 for the dust shields (which probably make sense via stock rotors are 319mm and the news ones are 338mm ... the FJ and thanks for all the info guys glad we FJ guys can cross paths with you 4 runner guys they both excellent trucks and I passed on all the info to the FJ Cruiser fourm

Just finished up my swap last night. Wasn't too happy with the outcome so far. Did all 6 SS lines and I must still have air in the lines after going through 64oz of brake fluid. Along with weak parking brakes. Going back to the store for 4 32 oz just of Valvoline juice and some more red lock tight for my wheel spacer nuts. Hopefully I don't have to get Toyota to bleed the MC! LOL But the red calipers and the rotors look good!
