I just bought a BudBuild Winch Plate and plan to purchase Engo 10K winch for it. I am concern about fitting Engo 10K winch to the tight space. Before I buy the winch I would like your inputs on whether the engo 10K winch will fit. I've seen other winch installed but just thought I ask before diving in and spend the $$$.
I have 10000lbs winch with the bud winch plate. The winch fits. But the solenoid was off the left over the motor and not in the middle,...it didn't fit.
So now I have the solenoid very "professionally" tie wrapped in there, until I get some time to get cables to extend the solenoid to somewhere else like in the engine bay.
So keep that in mind if your winch has the solenoid off to the side, get a relocation kit.

Can - thanks for quick reply. I believe the solenoid on the engo winch is on top of the winch and I plan to relocate the solenoid box to the engine bay so that shouldn't be issue with that. I am just looking other fitment considerations
You would unbolt the gear side and rotate it so that the handle does not hit the bumper or is in a more accessible location. Like some of the videos in the link below.

Can - Great suggestion. I end up cutting poriton of the plastic support structure of bumper and the gear position handle to fit. Had I known about clocking I'd done that. I may end up doing 'clocking' in the future. Much appreciate your suggestion.
