Goodyear Duratrac Noise??

I just purchased a used set of Goodyear Duratrac LT265/70/17 Load Range C from craigslist. According to the guy it has only 1,000 miles on it and the tires do look like it. So I just mounted the tires at work today since I work for Honda and after installing it and driving it home. I notice tire noise. Is it normal for these tires?

At that point, they began making the classic "nobby" noise that you would expect from dual purpose tires. Granted, they are way more quiet than the BFG Mud Terrains that I used to have on my Xterra, they are way louder than the Yokohama Geolander A/T-S' that the Dura Tracs replaced.

I didn't notice any real noise until about 15k miles. Now at 25k'ish they sound the same as they did at 15k.

Way less noisy than my previous mud terrains.

I've had mine on for about 500 miles so far, only noise that comes from them is a mild Hum at 70mph or higher. just barely louder than my previous BFG KO's on my tundra

Yea. Mine is pretty loud starting at 25mph and above. Just wondering if i got ripped off for the tires since i did buy em at a cheap price. 2 of the wheels to a lot of weights to balanced. 120 grams on the inside. Wondering if the tires are cupped...

do they look cupped? when you asked about noise I said yes because my previous silent armors were extremely quiet. These have road noise but it's nothing that I would ever complain about.
