Best Current QUIET 33" OffRoad Tires
Hello everyone!
I am looking at buying some procomp 17x8 wheels for my New 4th gen, along with the icon stage 2 kit+ total chaos UCAs.
This kit specifies that it has clearance for 33" tires.
In the past, I have had km2's and I was very happy with their noise level and performance.
Does anyone know what size km2 would still work for my trail and overland adventure needs- I believe I saw on their website some "LT285/70R17/D"
Anyone have a tires between 31-33" that is similar and more quiet?
Thank you!
EDIT: Upon digging further. it looks like KM2 or KO2

My General Grabber AT2 33" tires are VERY QUIET and also load range D (lighter than E) which is nice.
~ $700 shipped for 4 makes them a pretty good deal.
Hope that helps.

After further Research, it looks like I can get KO2's for $225 each, and the KM2's are $310 - thats almost a deciding factor right there.
Does anyone have a 285-70-17R KO2 that they wouldnt mind sending a picture of?
I would just like to see how it looks on the vehicle .

So far I'm impressed with my KO2's. They are dead silent, balance good, and seem to have incredible grip on every surface. Without a doubt, they are quieter than the KO's.
If I were going to run the KO2's in a 33-ish size, I would go with either a 285/70/17 or (most likely) a 34-10.50/17.
Other tires I would possibly consider are the Cooper ST MAXX, Toyo MT, Goodyear MTR

I'm about to put a set of Fierce Attitude MT's on mine. A buddy of mine has run them on his FJ for 3 sets. Slight road noise but not that much.

I find the KM2's are twice as loud as the KO's. I'd put KO's as normal street tire as far as noise level, Same as Nitto Terra Grappler. Both are very quiet and capable offroad. My firestone winter tires were louder than both sets.

I'm gonna say don't go with Goodyear MTR. I have them and love it but ANYONE who ride with me is like "Whats that whining noise...is that your tires? Why are they so loud?" I guess I'm just use to them..

KM2 are anything but quiet... my MTRs are much quieter than the KM2s. id either look at the KO2 or the Cooper ST MAXX. im gonna go with the ST MAxx just because of the slightly more aggressive treat, and the deeper tread depth. but its a 49/51% deal for me
