Where to find Limited wheels for sale??
I've recently purchased a 2003 Limited model (Picture below ) and the factory wheels have been eaten up with rust and are pitting. Instead of having them refinished which isn't cheap where I live... I've decided I would just like to find the 2006+ Limited wheel to put on but I cannot find them anywhere.. craigslist, eBay, forums, etc.. Are they just a special wheel that will be difficult to find? The ones I have found are super expensive I attached a picture for reference. Thanks all in advance!

I've got four 18" Limited wheels sitting in boxes in the basement, but I replaced them because they were starting to flake with the corrosion so many owners of Toyota alloy wheels get. I was going to sandblast and powder coat them, but they've just been sitting in boxes since I put the new wheels on.
Let me know if you're interested. Again, they're not perfect, but they still look good.

@ neavesj
18" limited wheels are tougher to find, basically only made for three years. and Limited's are more rare than SR5 or sport. And a lot of times limited are owned by people we do not get rid of wheels. Of course this is a generalized statement by me, but they are harder to find.
You will also have to get tires, because your stock are 17" and limited are 18"
buying some aftermarket wheels may be easier.

I have a set of '07 Limited wheels that I am going to clean up this weekend in hopes of finding them a new home. I recently went to the TRD Pro wheels (17"), so I have no real use for them anymore. Shoot me a PM if you're interested!

Just get them media blasted and refinished. I just dropped off a set of wheels last week to get media blasted, powder coated and cleared. I think the total is going to be ~$600.
If you buy a used set your still going to be dealing with the lackluster clear coat on those factory wheels..

If you were closer I would sell you mine... but I think shipping would kill the deal. They are the wheels in the pic and have brand new michellins on them that were a grand out the door so I'm not sure it would be worth it for you but I'm willing to work with you if you want them. I've been thinking about new wheels lately too...

PlastiDip black is the cheapest way - if you like black rims. Just sand off the bad parts first. About 2.5 cans per wheel. Use index cards between tire and rim.

Thanks everyone for the replies so quickly! I didn’t set the notification so I just logged back in and am humbled by everyone’s help with this. I appreciate everyone’s willingness to sell their Limited wheels but I do believe shipping would hurt slightly with the distance being traveled (as
@ truman3
mentioned). I found a set identical to what is in the picture (with descent Bridgestone tires) on Craigslist for $500… I hesitated because it was a 2 hour drive and they were sold by the time I called. Now, I really kick myself for that!! I like the 17” that are on it now but I really really like the 18” Limited’s for some reason.. I think it’s the stance and ‘clean’ style the possess. I have looked into getting the current wheels refinished but I feel that for that price I can put towards what I really want. Plasti-Dip was an idea but I ended up not being keen on the black wheels on silver exterior. If it were white then I may have gave that a second thought!
If I don’t see anything else come up on Craigslist or somewhere a little closer then I will reach back out to everyone individually and see what we can work out!
Really, thanks again everyone!

the only issue I've come across with the 18's are the tire selections available if you don't plan on doing a lift and would like a more aggressive tread pattern such as the BFG AT's. Something you'd want to research.

One good thing is that 17" wheels from most any Toyota truck will fit -- Taco, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, etc. I picked up some used Sequoia wheels off of Craigslist a couple years back.
As for refinishing them, the local quote I got here in the Boston area was stupidly expensive.

There is currently a set on Atlanta Craigslist for $700 with tires. Not affiliated with the seller so I'm not sure if they'd ship or not.

Plasti dip can be painted over ya know! Plasti dip, then spray paint to your liking! Done this several times, and never had a problem! Works great!
