Side firing LED's that fit under the stock roof rack rails
I'm looking for some sort of LED spot light, 18w minimum that will mount/ fit underneath the standard SR5 roof rack rails.
So the lights would be pointed perpendicular to the direction of the truck.
I want side lighting for trails without adding anything to the profile of my truck to get caught on trees, further decrease my fuel mileage etc.
The gap is about 1.1" but it has a slight curve.
Just curious if anyone had any ideas.

I will let you know on my WM roof rack even these slim lights wont fit.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...dp_o_pC_nS_ttl
I know the factory rails are little wider, but it does suck to purchase some lights and for them not to fit. . .so now I need to figure out where to mount this little guy

That light in the link isn't as thin as it looks. I have some on my wifes 05 as back up lights.
Best thing about buying through amazon (at least with my Prime membership) is easy returns.
I'm about to mount my TroyMclure Bumper, and once its on, I might do a side facing light on the front end.
I just figured I would ask here and see if anyone had any suggestions.

In case you missed it, check out this post for a novel idea: Off-Road Cornering Lights. They seem to put out quite a bit of light according to the pictures.

Why would you weld them on? There's a roof rail RIGHT THERE! Just make a simply T-Bracket with a nut to tighten it in place like the cross bars and bolt the lights to that bracket (hey you can even slide them up and down the rails a bit if you want now! .) Is that not obvious? lol
But damn it, now you guys got me thinking about roof lights! I need to spend more money like I need a hole... another one... in my head.

He welded them to his aftermarket roof rack. I just liked his execution and final product.
