Right DRL keeps burning up

For a while now my right DRL has been intermittent and keeps blowing. The left has never been a problem. Sometimes after replacing the right bulb it would work for a week, sometimes a few days, it would just depend. Well now it isn't working even 30 seconds, so I just replaced the socket after doing some research so I'm sure it's not that.

Tonight I went through 4 3157 bulbs. What a way to blow 10 bucks literally. The second I put them into the socket and turn the car on with it just hanging there you can see the bulb start to smoke on the inside and just eventually stops working.

Any ideas?

Looks like it's time to splice in new DRL sockets. I had to do this on my '05. Exact same issue. Now, I run LED's and no issues.

Disable the DRLs and be done with it.

go buy some electrical cleaner and spray it. make sure the contacts there are clean enough then try again and the wires are not loose.

This. The sockets become corroded and need to be replaced. Same thing happened on my '03.

I already just replaced the right socket about a week ago and it's still blowing like before which makes me think it's something else. The left side is fine which is weird.
