Upper control arms same on the V-6 and V-8?
Here's my question guys: I'm currently running a 2004 v-6 with a 4.0 v-6 working on 175k miles. I just came across a great deal on a local 08 4Runner with less than 75k on the clock and I'm really starting to tow more. My question is will my toytec lift and aftermarket UCAs swap over to the V-8? Both are SR5 non sport packages. Stock UCAs the same?

Thank you. I think I'm going to make the jump. 4 years newer, v-8. And 100,000 less miles sounds like a great mod for 5k.

That sounds like a great trade off, you'll like it.

Sure wish I could find an '08 V8 with less than 100k for 5k in my area. I would trade my two '03 rusty buckets for one solid southern ride.

It's got about 65k miles, 4wd and I'm paying 14k. I have a buyer lined up for my 04 v-6 with 170k miles for 8800. So it's "a 5k" dollar mod

OK, that makes a bit more sense. I was about to book a flight to AZ to look for one of those 'finds'.................;-)

Hah. They are actually easier to find on the east coast. I find off road rigs like the wrangler and 4runner to cost more out here. Being military, I've seen it first hand living on both coasts. recently, I sold my 05 TJ with 55k miles for 17k out here, I paid 13k for it back east a year earlier.

Oh well, I guess I get to keep my 'rusty' buckets for a while longer.
