Sorry I didn't welcome you to the forum in my last post...so welcome!!
I figured you didn't realize your error, so I would say no harm no foul especially with you posting your sincere apology, I don't think it necessary to delete your post, I can't speak for TiN but I think he will feel the same.
I would recommend that you work towards the 10 to 15 post minimum that is required to start your own topic and then post your solution for all to see, many may find it of interest to them and may like to have one.

TiN can be a little hard to get ahold of too. Great stuff if you can track him down! But this cast holder option looks cool. I'd advise you start your own thread. Welcome!

Can anybody advise how to install this? The cup holder sits in place nicely but the trim ring is odd, like it needs to be glued down? Is this right or am I missing the boat here?

You do, in fact, need to superglue the top plate to the insert. I was befuddled as well. Make sure the arrows are pointing the same direction, add superglue around the circles on the plate, place it on a counter or some such surface and add some weight to it to hold it down and fuse properly.

3D Printed Cup-holder Insert
I’ve had this a couple weeks and finally painted it and took a picture. Fits perfect! Thanks again @TiN

Where are the Arrows on the Cup Holder Itself? I see the Arrow on the Top Plate

Flip it upside down it’s kinda hard to see, it’s like on one of those little braces between the cup holes.

Very simple to figure out doing a test fit. Top Plate only fits one way.

Tin,
I don’t know if you are still active here or selling these.
I just
Got my first 4Runner and the cup holders are horrendous!
I need one of these badly.

I have a set of these. I took them out of my 4Runner before I sold it. Let me know if you're interested.
