Another side project I've been wanting to revive... There has been a lot of interest in an improved cup-holder for our 4th gens, so here I am with a new thread

I've had a few new fresh ideas recently, so hopefully I can get something figured out. I'm currently printing my first prototype (shown below), and while it may or may not resemble the final working version, I think it's a solid start.

This thread to too funny. I was thinking about ya the other day. The front cup holders are garbage. If your invention holds them (cups or whatever), i'm interested!

I would also be interested in one that can actually hold cups/bottles of various sizes securely.

I am interested as well. The cup holders that I find work best have multiple graduated steps in them to accommodate different sized cups. Kinda like steps but obviously circle shaped. I am sure whatever design u come up will be way better than the current design. Thank you

I solve the problem by getting a 40 oz Hydroflask! It fits in the cupholder perfectly

But it does suck for smaller items.

Definitely interested. Getting things to stay in place is a daily struggle.

Printer

What printer are you using and what design software? I teach CADD at a CC here on the VA TN line.
