4Runner's power liftgate window
Ok Im new to the study of 4Runners especially newer ones. Please tell me if you know, I loved the way the tailgate window rolled down in the old runners and was just reading a review saying that in '99 they brought this back to the limited's?

Please tell me which runners have this feature, and could you just go to the dealer and get it installed in say a '98 4Runner?

Doesn't all 3rd generation 4Runners have the roll down liftgate window? Or are you referring to the remote/key fob linked roll down feature? For the latter, you can probably get an aftermarket alarm system that supports control of windows. It will automatically roll up when arming the system and you can have it roll down when disarming.
