Interior/Cargo Area Dimensions with seats folded down - Can I fit these boxes?
Hey guys -
I was searching like a mad man to find the interior dimensions of my 2006 4Runner Sport to see if it is worth driving somewhere to pick up some boxes or pay for delivery. I can't find anything for the life of me even though there are a ton of threads asking the same thing. I found one post from 2012 that looked promising but the image with what I suspect would have answered my question was no longer available.
I am happy to see the dimensions or for someone to help answer if these 3 boxes together are going to fit inside. Preferably I don't have to have anything poking out the window as I may have to store it in the truck overnight on the street.
Boxes:
Box #1: 29 x 82 x 7.5”
Box #2: 11.5 x 89 x 8"
Box #3: 38.5 x 79.5 x 5"
Thanks!

It might fit, I just fit a queen size bed frame and headboard from Ikea 2 weeks ago. It was the brimnes storage bed. The tricked I did, have the passenger seat all the way up and forward, then fold the back seat down, lay the boxes flat and move it behind and on top of passenger seat if it do stick out of the cargo. Otherwise just barrow a pickup and move it and not leave it alone.

Hah, yeah this is a King sized bed frame (not assembled). The problem is I have to take a ferry from the island I live on to the mainland to pick it up so I'm timing it with a weekend trip. Otherwise delivery services are pretty pricey.

looking back at the dimensions on my boxes, it should be close,[url=http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S49099250/[/url]
im guessing you might have to make the boxes reach the front windshield. do remember to take the headrest out, i forgot to mention that.

I don't think they will fit with just the back seats folded down. My sleeping platform goes from the back of my driver seat to just about touching the rear hatch and it is only 74". I guess if you could get creative and fold the front seat down and have the boxes diagonal they might fit.
Best of luck!

as i mention on the first post, i removed my pass side headrest and have that seat all the way up, the back seats are folded down, and the boxes do stack on top of the front seat a little bit.

Take the items out of the boxes and it will save you some space. But I'm not sure what style of bed frame you got.

Just to conclude this thread.
Although I still was unable to get the dimensions of the cargo area (seats folded down) of my 4Runner, I really appreciate the feedback from everyone.
I did go ahead and pick up the boxes successfully. However, I was not able to keep them inside the cabin. The only configuration that would allow that was unsafe as I had to take off both head rests and have a box right up against my head. I ended up sliding the back window down and all 3 boxes stuck out that back. While I stayed overnight on the mainland, before heading home, I just pulled the boxes in the car at night as I didn't have to go anywhere.
Hope this helps anyone trying to figure out if they can fit boxes!
