Tire damage

Took my spare down today to clean some rust up and found this. This tire has never seen pavement yet so I don't know if it's safe to drive on. There are 3 more spots like this. Any help, recommendations? Should I scrap it?

Looks to me like something has been dripping on the spare and eating away the rubber. Anything back there leaking?

living in MA where salt/brine reign during the winter months, are you sure the marks are where the tires sits up against the frame when tucked away? Do you wash/power wash the chassis during the winter months? No? You totally should.

I wouldn't junk it, it's a spare. Even if you use it, I doubt it would be a for a long time. I'd clean it up and reinstall it (underneath the truck).

Those are definitely the marks from where the tire was pulled up tight against the frame. For spare its no biggie. As CookieRoe said just clean it and put it back up.

Good idea to drop the spare a couple of times a year to check it for damage, clean the wheel and tire, and lube the carrier and cable.

These tires don't even have 7K miles on them yet. Was going to do the first tire rotation and put this one in but I saw that. Bought them last November, would it be unsafe to put that one in rotation or just rotate the 4 and keep that one as just a spare. How can I prevent further sidewall unbelievable. I have a giant hole under the driver side floor that I don't know how far it goes. There's body rot in the rear floor ribs above where the spare tire goes. I was going to clean and POR-15 the underside but it's so bad I don't know what to do.
