Anyone know how to disconnect the brake failure warning beep?

Hydraboost failed at 11,000 feet with a tough descent in front of me (Pearl Pass). Ironically, I kind of enjoyed the unboosted brakes under those conditions. Much finer control with less front end compression trying to control a front tire coming down off a rock. After the descent, I carefully drove the 600 miles home keeping the RPMs up at all times to have engine braking instantly available. Oh, yeah, wore ear plugs the whole way which is the subject of this post.

Now that I'm home, I can take my time investigating the best repairs options but I may not be able to avoid all driving.

Anyone know how to disable the brake warning beep or where the speaker is located?

Thanks

The buzzer is located on the driver's side up inside of the dash. You might be able to get at it by removing the instrument cluster trim. It looks like it's behind the driver's side vent area? Two wire plug, one Black with a Red Tracer and Grey with a Green Tracer.
