Help with Aftermarket Head Unit

Hi all,

I installed a Kenwood DDX9702s into my 4r yesterday, but with the wiring harness I received there was still a plug left that was unused. It had 3 wires coming from it. I looked at the wiring diagram and it appears to lead to a "Combination SW". Can I leave this in my dash with no plug or how should I wire it? Also, a noise is coming from near my glove compartment, not from the speakers, that sounds kind of like a leveling system. It stays on fairly constant as long as my key is in the ignition and turned all the way without the car being on. When I start the engine it seems to go away or maybe I just can't hear it anymore. Could this be caused by those wires with nowhere to go? I have searched this forum up and down and can't find anything so any help would be much appreciated! Thanks
