A mile and a half of dirt roads after raining all day makes your vehicle look like this. I couldn't cram the 3" MT coils underneath the body in my driveway (at least in a reasonable amount of time with my limited amount of tools and knowledge, coupled with my 21st birthday this weekend also)
Took it to a shop and had it done.
Will still need to lower the front right coilover and get it aligned but am happy with the results. The washboarded dirt road felt smooooth.

Didn't seem harsh or anything on the drive home- I can elaborate more tomorrow. And no extended brake lines, I don't have the MT long travel shocks, just the normal length ones.

That's good to know. I have the HD coils but haven't installed them yet & I was worried about having bad rake but yours seems pretty level!

Ride is better than the FJ coils in every regard. I can go as fast as my temporarily misalignment will allow through washboarded dirt roads. In no way is it "stiff" on or offroad. I'm actually surprised with how nice they ride.
I adjusted my coilovers today to gain 2.75-3" over stock coilovers and the running boards are almost level now, (1/4") taller in the front still. Will adjust them a bit further downward before my alignment to account for a little potential sagging in the rear.

I'm running into the same issue with my RCI skid laying against the transfer case/diff. I'll probably need to run spacers to lower it a tad

And do you have a diff drop too?
Mine currently makes an embarrassing rattling noise when driving in parking lots. I should have thought that out more...
I really don't want to wheel with those small spacer stacked like that and might try and fabricate some wider plates to disperse the load, but I also don't like reducing my ground clearance. Diff drop might have to go
Add that to the list of things needing to get done before a Moab trip in 5 weeks. Among other things:
Respace front skid or ditch diff drop
Reroute exhaust crossover
Fabricate 2 rear skids
Fabricate rear tire carrier
- Fabricate storage/sleeping platform
Zero point calibration
Trim wheel wells more
- Body mount chop
Install body lift
Buy and weld on sliders
- Weld armor to lower links
- Fix sunroof rattle
- Extended sway bar links
Moving into a new house.
Helping my parents move into a new house.
I keep adding stuff but nothing gets done.
I can finish the tire carrier design when the 4xInnovations tire carrier spindle gets here.
Very early design:
A good use for Solidworks student edition :
The RCI skid at 1000lbs force on a small rock-shaped area with a deformation scale of 20. Passes at 3/5 of its yield strength in this test.

Got the spindle in and will be finalizing the design. It can hold x2 2 gallon Rotopax. Will hopefully have a buddy at work cut this out along with my skids on the plasma table once I get those designed.
