Help me fix this vibration. Driving me crazy
After I put my OME 3" lift on I started to get a slight vibration in the front when I accelerated hard. Figured it was the alignment so I didn't put much thought into it. After I tried to get an alignment they told me my alignment cams were seized, so I ordered inner/outer tie rods, lower control arms and alignment cams. Cut the LCA out the passenger side and installed the LCA and alignment cams (Didn't do the driver side cause I ran out of time). It developed a vibration when turning right, and only felt it when turning left if I was going fast around a corner. Following weekend I did the driver side control arm, alignment cams, and inner/outer tie rods on both sides. The vibration started happening on the driver side now too when turning left at really any speed. Driver side cv axle developed a rip and through all the grease out so that was making an additional noise, hoping it was related to the vibration too, I changed that last weekend, but it only took care of the axle bind from dry joints. Tuesday I took my front drive shaft out to see if the u joints are bad, and one was sticky. While it was out I drove around a few days with no front driveshaft, and the acceleration vibration was gone for the most part, but still there in the corners. After putting everything back in I greased the joints and shaft and the vibration while accelerating came back. It's not quite as bad as it was before, but it's still there quite a bit. Wheel bearings don't make noise, and they're no play in them. Took the rear drive shaft out and the u joints are just fine. Greased the u joints and shaft and about to go put them back in and then do rear diff and transfer case fluid change. I'm at a loss what I can check. I don't see anything loose. Everything is tightened down. There's no vibration when driving straight at any cruising speed. I'm at a loss. Only thing I can think of is something is binding from being too tall, but this seems like a very common set up and height and didn't appear to be a problem. I was reading the heavier springs with out steel bumpers could have a rougher ride, but nothing about vibrations. Anyone have any idea what it could be?
New parts/things changed:
OME 3" lift with 896 rear spring and 886 front spring, and the optional spacer
ToyTec diff drop
Moog inner/outer tie rods
Beck/Arnley LCA
Moog alignment cams
Light Racing UCA
Front diff fluid
CVJ driver side axle (passenger was replaced not long before I bought the t4r in June)
No front sway bar
Wheels balanced
Alignment from a shop who regularly works with lifted vehicles.
Symptoms:
Vibration when accelerating more than about 25% throttle
Vibration turning left over 15mph
Vibration turning right over 15mph
Vibration when front suspension become unloaded
Vibration not in the steering wheel, and feels like it could be rotational
No vibration when going straight and cruising at any speed. Smooth from 5-90pmh as long as I gradually get up to speed.
No front drive shaft and accelerating vibration goes away for the most part, but turning vibration remains.
Checked:
u joints
tie rods
ball joints
shock mounts
drive shafts
cv axles
wheel bearings
