Dang they look good. Being a whore for lights, I might have to waste more time and money doing this

Taking the same concept but using the two 12" pack of blue leds up in the windows gives off enough light to see gear without sacrificing nightvision or attracting bugs.

Wow that looks so awesome. I've been thinking of doing something like this for a while now, but anything electrical is not my strong suit. I've just been hanging a langern back there for now . Really gonna read into this one and see if I can handle it.

Looks good, anyone know if using red or orange light will attract bugs?
I was thinking of doing a switchback - white for city & amber/red for country

From a different source...
Summary:
Red attracted 0.6% of the insects;
Yellow 2.1%
Green 3.8%
White 4.2%
Blue 26.5%
(I specifically choose blue because its the least visible to two legged creatures)
Black (UV) 62.8%

I did something similar this winter. This is just leftover LED strip from my undercabinet kitchen lighting. It's on the hatch just below the interior panel so that it sits just above the rubber weatherstripping and wired into the factory cargo light. I wanted a seperate switch but i didnt have time to mess with it. I also made custom led lights for my overheads and door lights so it's pretty bright inside. Totally worth if you do a lot of wilderness camping or late night riding or paddling.

Here is how I did mine. Cheap because I ordered a whole roll for lighting my house. You can buy the replacement led lights probably for cheaper than making your own...but I had all the stuff to do it. As always pictures don't do it justice. Did the door lights the same way.
