A guy on the forum here makes quick diconnect Sway bar links.

Also, its always good to have an emergency kit in every vehicle, as well as fire extinguisher and flashlight.

Personally- I think a go pro, some good all season floor mats or maintenance items, maybe a car cover or a good detailer or wax would be good.

Some boots for offroading, maybe a hi lift if necessary or if we want to get a little expensive, some sliders are as low as $250.

Also ECG fabrication makes grill swap kits that transform the look for around $150

I asked my wife (Santa) for a gift card to the Retrofit Source so I can do another retrofit. Doing one on my 2004 4runner. I did a TSX retrofit in a Accord I had and was absolutely awesome!! My G8 has a MoriMoto kit and is insane at night. I have to have good lights on this 4runner now. A MUST.

There are a ton of cool little things you could get/ask for. Just depends on your price range.
- LED interior lights
- HID systems
- All-weather floor mats
- light bars or other lights
- a hitch shackle like Smittybilt makes
- tow strap or other recovery gear
- fire extinguisher
- small tool kits to keep in your truck
- cb radio setups
- tactical tool for breaking glass and cutting seatbelts
- small flashlight

That is all a bunch of small stuff that could be good gifts. Of course you can go bigger and more expensive with shocks, springs, wheels, tires, supercharger, Solide Axle swaps, etc......but some girlfriends/wife (or boyfriends/husbands) might not go that far.

Would also like to hear some other ideas. Might give some people ideas for their secret Santa gifts.

Tomorrow is the last day to sign up

When you have your full kit picked out, shoot me a PM with your exact order and shipping postal code. I used to be a volume buyer from TRS, and I still get their "pricing that's close to their wholesale/blackfriday/xmas" year round--so no rush.

I can vouch for the BAFX OBDII scan tool and Fluid film...good stuff! I've used the scan tool with my Android phone and Torque app to pull codes. I know you can pull more engine info too with the paid App. I use the Fluid film for my snowblower to keep it from clogging and now I am doing underneath the 4runner. Many uses!

Can you clear codes with it as well? I have an older different scanner you could, but lost it and stumbled across this one as an idea?

Universal gift idea: a good headlamp. I can't tell you how often I've ended up using my headlamp (literally everywhere), and on the roadside in an emergency situation keeping both of your hands free to work is critical.

Magnetic LED lights are also nice for working underneath the truck.

Yeti 20 or 30oz rambler. Cold, hot... They're amazing tumblers -- cold beer for hours, icy tea for ages, and hot coffee as good as any mug.

On that note, beer's a good gift too.
