Do you plan on taking your 4Runner on offroad/rocky trails, or will it all be well groomed paths? You could get away without skidplates and sliders if you're not traveling over obstacles. You also don't necessarily need new wheels unless >295 size tires are wanted due to their width. However, Method, SCS, and FN all make some tempting options (you'll need at least a 17" for your sport brakes). For tires, Cooper makes the ST MAXX and AT3 I've heard are good. Suspension: Bilstein 5100's are a pretty common upgrade on all 4 along with lift coils, but if you have the spare change (might want to jump on the black friday deals
), Icon's coilovers will make it ride even better. I've tried my best to answer, although there is about a million options out there; It just comes down to your personal uses or taste.
