2004 SR5 Oil change by lube place questions

This is a local place to the area, and I used them exclusively on my 2000 isuzu rodeo, and now that i've moved to the t4r, i figured i'd give them a shot.

91k miles on the 2004 and I went with the traditional 5w-30 since they had a coupon for 35 bucks. I had the guy stop and not 'top off' the coolant since it's not below the 'low' line on the over flow tank, and appears to be the 100k pink coolant. Was this the right move? Is 'topping off' with water a bad thing for this?

I plan on doing the drop and fill of the coolant with more 100k pink at the 100k mark.

I got the tr4 at 87k miles and I doubt this thing has ever had full synthetic in it, should I consider switching now that I near 100k?

Just trying to keep this thing as long as possible!

Thanks!

You did fine. In 9K more miles, have the radiator flush/drain/fill/whatever. I want to say it should be done every 50K there after. I can't remember where I saw that. Anyway, that's what I'm doing as I plan on keeping mine practically forever.

the 50k interval after the first 100k drain/fill of the coolant is what i've seen recommended too.

thanks!
