Stupid question. Seat heat switch light. How do you remove the switch?

Do I need to remove the console or does it just pry out with a screwdriver? I need to replace the bulb.

open console and you can pull on both sides just behind the switch and the whole panel will come up. then just push the tabs on the back side of the switch and it pops out

I just pry it out. You have just enough harness length to pull the plug off. Just make sure you don't drop the plug back in. I just use the small screw driver to prevent it from falling back in.

Don't do this, you risk breaking the tabs that hold it in. Just pull up on the whole panel like someone else said, way easier and you don't risk scratching the top of the panel.

Also a plastic pry tool set will go a long way vs a flat head screwdriver FYI for everyone.

Yes, I did that. It's very easy to get that part of the console up.
