Chicken and Egg .....If a car is loved or heavily used like some of those HD trucks they will make it more longer, if a car is not loved (because it sucks and/or is unreliable) then it wont.
I would assume that those larger vehicles see more highway miles, for road trips, fleet service, commercial or heavy personal towing (aka diesel)
I think they are missing the Chevy Astro...there are lots of those in Dallas and they all (100%) have to have over 200K, must be just stuff still sold today

I'm happy to see T4R in 3rd place, but also the Ford Expedition in 4th since I was considering that one before I finally made up my mind to purchase the T4R...

How is the Camry not on there?? Honestly I see 93s all the time and they have to have close to a million miles on them

I noticed that only two of those top 10 are uni-body construction (Sequoia and Avalon) - the other 8 are body on frame. Unibody is cheaper and lighter, but I think is less likely to hold up for the long haul.

Sequoia is BoF construction. It is based on the tundra platform however the 2nd gen uses a fully boxed frame vs the semi-boxed/c-channel frame of the tundra. Also the rear end is different.
The only unibody on the list is the avalon.

Somehow I thought the Sequoia was unibody, but I think I mixed it up with the Highlander. Thanks for the correction.

I have to disagree. My 4Runner is great, but my Land Rover was more reliable.
Frozen brake calipers anyone?

Surprised to see Tacoma & Corolla at the bottom of the list.

Guess I can join the 200,000 mile club. Rolled over a few days ago.

Just repair the front brake cylinder seal and clean it out. Alot easier than the "reliability" of a land rover.
