Melted fog light harness

So not long ago I had to replace the passenger side fog light harness because it had melted. I reused the same Putco 55w yellow dogs and they worked fine until recently when I noticed both fog bulbs were out. I wiggled them a little and they would stay on, but eventually go out again. I checked the harness and it looks like the same thing was happening - the harness was melting.

Does anyone know what would cause this? I'm thinking the fault may be from the bulbs themselves. Just curious if anyone else using aftermarket bulbs had a similar issue.

I did take the Putco bulbs out and finally installed some 35w 3000k HIDs... They look so much better than the Putco bulbs I had. I'm just hoping they won't suffer the same issue with the harness melting.

A pic of inside the bulbs:

it was just too hot. OEM bulbs run at 35watts and the putcos probably are efficient. Ive done it too cause they run yellow bulbs hotter so you can actually see them.
