Old man EMU 2896

Is any one running these rear coils on a 4th gen with no weight or less than a 100lbs?
I'm really looking for coils that will give me 3 inches of lift in the rear. Some times I have no weight at all in back. I also looked at the Icon overland rears
Any opinions ? Pics of y'all's would definitely help!

I'm running these with no weight. I got 2.5-3 inches of lift from it. I'll have to find the paper I wrote on to find the exact amount

I've read they run really stiff when not loaded. 40% stiffer than stock. I opted for the Toytec RCC2.0HD which gaine a little over 2 1/2 and is only 25% stiffer than stock. I'm loving the ride.

Do you have any pictures? That's pretty much what I'm looking for. But I like that Icon have a lifetime guarantee of never sagging

I really want rake even about and inch higher in the back. Cause I will tow every now and then. I can't anymore because my tires for the fender from the coils being so worn.
So you have any pics of yours?

I have the Overlands. Before I did a rear bumper, I would give an estimate guess of
3-3.5" lift, and a little rigid. After bumper, brought her down to a moderate 3".

I also have the 885 on the front, so I would say a 3/3 lift, stock looking rake to mine.

I never lost any flex with these. Change from stock coils and 2.5" spacers.

They still can stuff in the wheel wells. If you don't have any weight, will have rigid like a empty 1/2 to 3/4 ton truck bed empty.

edit... I'm also undercarriage armored out, so I have some weight. Roof rack also.
2nd edit.... Do know also, some rear springs are designed with left n right for driver lean. these ones DON'T. I have a driver spacer for that also.

That's good to hear. I plan on getting a rack next week and doing skids.
Where and what kind of spacer is it? I forgot to mention that but I hate the lean. I have it on my Tacoma to and it drives me nuts

Most on here buy the Daystar 1.5 spacer lift for the rear, and use 1 on driver side only.
I just cut down one of my Revtek spacers for this.

Take a look at my build page if you want to see more pictures as there are more pictures there. My frame is level, but my wheel wheels are not. I chose this lift Combo (OME 895/Toytec rcc2.0hd) for the reason you mentioned.

There might be some better pics in my Moab trip album, http://www.toyota-4runner.org/member...pril+2016.html , and this has images with my PUP connected too.

Wow that big of a spacer? That's what I'm using a lift on stock coils right now lol
But I could just shave of some of the bottom of it right

Wow is about right, our coil suspension sits close to center on axle, so does make a difference in balance.

What spacer are you using, Daystar or Revtek?

Thanks Neil for that huge piece of information on your build. I like exactly how you have it setup. Especially the air bags, I don't necessarily need them but I want them just in case. From the pictures or looks like yours is perfectly level. Do those toytec coils have a left and a right side to compensate for the drive side lean

I have the daystar.
This is how she sits right now. It doesn't look so bad but the street I'm on is at a decline to.
It leans alot especially when under acceleration. Its annoying felling the rear end dip so much taking off from a stop.
