Surging at highway speeds

I've heard of the AC causing surging while stopped, but I notice at highway speeds that I can feel my AC cycle on and off. Its barely noticeable, but its there and slightly annoying. Common issue?

Check the voltage at the terminal of the AC motor, it could be fluctuating.

Same issue. Never searched for an answer though.

Also AC surge. Turn your AC off at highway speed to test.

I felt that mine cycled too often and searched for a fix, there was some 03-05 people that replaced a thermistor under the dash to help get better temp control and less cycling but for the 06-09 it's not as easy to change. It blows cold, it doesn't surge on cruise control, I gave up on it for now.

If you have added any refrigerant, it could be over charged. That is the cheap and easy thing to check first before replacing parts.
