DC-Area Shops (or rent-a-bay?)

Hi Folks,

My rear pads and rotors are completely shot and my neighborhood Japanese Auto specialty shop wants "at least" $430 to replace. I was hoping to find a credible shop that either is somewhat reasonable, or would be willing to use my supplied rotors and pads (Centric off of Amazon). I would be absolutely psyched if there were a rent-a-lift place within an hour drive so I could also do the complete driveline service, but there isn't that I can find.

Any suggestions for a shop or better yet a rent-a-lift place?

Thanks!

Ted

Wish you were in Iowa, I would help! Never been to DC, but here is a free bump.

There used to be a place in Sterling called Sportscar shop that used to rent their bays. I used them several times to work on my runner but they recently stopped. I suspect a new owner. I'm hoping they start renting again. Their site is currently down because they are moving locations.

I am just over the river in Virginia, but I'd be willing to drive a good distance for a decent shop or better yet a lift.

The place in Sterling was great, I did a whole bunch of work on my old e30 out there, I wish it were still around!

There are two spots that come to mind. I'm guessing you are in Arlington or Alexandria??? Curry's Auto service in Arlington or Huntington Car care in Alexandria at 2600 Huntington Ave Alexandria, VA 22303. I'd go to Huntington first, Curry's seems hit or miss last few years.
