Back window won't roll all the way down..
Hi guys,
when I hold down the button on the FOB key to lower the rear window, it only cracks it open a few inches..
if I use the switch inside above the 4WD switch it rolls up and down no problem..
is there some sort of setting Im missing here?
thanks..

I let go of the button once it starts moving and it automatically lowers the rest of the way...

From the Owner's Manual ... Opening Back Window
"To open the back window, push the back window open switch of the transmitter for about 1 second. The window will fully open."

Back window won't roll all the way down..
Tried it several ways. Press and hold. Just press. I get the beep and then it cracks the window down a few inches. Not down completely. It's weird.

Your key fob could be failing or needs a new battery.

Ok. Tried to do the reset.
When I use the switch inside. It only cracks it open, if I hold the down button. And if I hit the down button again it will roll all the way down. I checked the track. There isn't anything in the way.
So basically whether I use the key fob (have 2) or the inside down button it only cracks open. If I hit the key down again it does nothing but beep. If I hit the inside down button again it will roll down.
Any thoughts?

Is the rear wiper in the neutral position?
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/proble...look-here.html
I'd try the re-initialize procedure again, and be sure that there are no safety window locks on anywhere.
