Thoughts on spacers? I wanted to try out a 1.25" but, have heard both good and bad.

I had them on my white 4Runner for a very short time before I got my bigger tires. Never had any issues with them but have had no need for them now that I have the correct back spacing.

Love the look of your 4th gen.
How well does that wheel and tire combo perform on the highways? Any balancing or vibration issues at higher speeds?

Thanks! No, no issues with the higher speeds. They seems to handle quite well. Only downfall is they're quite noisy compared to the Cooper Zeons that I had on the white one.

Something else I forgot to mention. Keep in mind I had almost an identical set up on my white 4Runner. Only difference is the style of wheels (same offset) and the style of tire (same brand). With these tires being only a tad bigger - not only are they much louder, the gas mileage is a tad worse.
My white one got about 16 in the city. This one gets 14.

Road noise would be a problem for me since I drive a lot on the highway. I currently have the Cooper AT3's and they have been really good. I want something more aggressive for the next set but don't want too much noise. The reviews on the KO's have been very good but they are pricey compared to the coopers. I still have some time to decide but always listening to other experiences.

check the tire weight differences. heavier tires will definitely eat more gas. Also, not sure if you've done the basic tune up things to the new ride yet. (I.e. clean throttle body/ mass air flow sensor, new spark plugs, new air filter etc.) mine will vary 1 or 2 mpg's with a dirty throttle body alone but then again I do have the older 03.

Hankook dynapro ATM for an all terrain, MT for the mud terrain. MT is very quiet, especially for a mud tire. My 35" MT's have over 55k on them and still half tread. ATM was better. Great traction in everything.
Sent from the drivers seat of my 05 4runner.

Most of it yes, but not all of it. I need to do a few more things. Just had a light come on the dash, so it's going in for some "fix-up's" tomorrow.
These tires are much heavier and the tread is so much more aggressive.
I can tell the difference in driving it. It has no get up and go, that's for sure! lol

It's kind of embarrassing how little I document on my first vehicle, as you have already surpassed me with your 2nd 4runner haha. But thought I would give you a heads up that I named dropped you as another member is moving up to the Omaha area so I told him to reach out to you with any local questions/knowledge hope you don't mind. Maybe this weekend I will actually update my thread.
Speaking of updates, any new pictures or are you waiting for the big snow storm tomorrow to post them?

I'm the same! I post less of it and take less pictures. Though, I am hoping for some good snow so I can play and get some more pics, but this winter has been so mild.
A bit expected tonight and tomorrow, so we'll see
Don't mind at all! Maybe he/she will join here as well. I love seeing other 4Runners around here... but it's rare!

Well ideally I'd like to find a complete grill and build it the way I have planned... I have some of the parts on their way. If all works out, that's what I'll do and then sell the one you see in the photo.
