Suspension lift vs reg shock ready lift level kit

With the xreas now leaking looking for new suspension options. I'm leaning right now towards just 4 reg bilstein shocks and a ready lift 3/2 with the original springs. Is this possible or do I need new springs with the shocks as well. I know the other option is the suspension lift but that's more expensive. I have a 1 inch body lift on it already so the leveling kit on it now gives me the height I like.... Need advice from others who have done both

There are tons of options to use. My thoughts, go with Bilstein 5100's, set front at 2.5" Get some Moog FJ replacement springs for front and rear. Get some 1.5" day star rear spacers. That should give you a 3/2 lift. For maybe $550ish??

You could go with regular billies and the spacers, but chances are your springs are worn out.

I second SPARKYs comment....bilstein 5100s and new springs....fj front and rear springs. Will give you a nice budget lift. The possibilities are endless really. It all depends on your needs and budget. Parts are really inexpensive when looking into fj stock replacement coils. Amazon has some good priced too. if you off road a bit maybe some actual lift coils will be the answer. keep us posted please...looking forward to your results...aloha, HH

So you're saying the two front xreas spring and shocks can be changed out and at the same time keep the rear xreas shocks, replace those springs and just put spacers in the back?

No he's saying get rid of XREAS and replace all 4 with 5100s. Set the fronts at the top setting (about 2.5) Then buy all 4 FJ coils and a 1.5 rear spacer which will end up yielding about a 3/2

Nope, you need 4 new shocks, 4 new springs. Get 5100's front and rear, front are height adjustable, rears are not adjustable. Set front at 2.5 setting. Get FJ springs for front and rear, these five about 1/2" lift. Get day star 1.5" spacers for rear springs. This gives 3/2 lift
