Rear drivers side wheel trouble
I've been tracking down problems with my 4runner lately. I think something is wrong with my rear drivers side wheel, but I didn't find many search results because I'm not really sure what I'm looking for.
I've had trouble with dragging brakes, so I have all new brake components except for rear calipers. I've been using an infrared temp gauge to read the rotors after I drive sometimes. I've noticed that the rear rotors are usually 30+ degrees F hotter than the fronts, and the rear drivers side is hotter than the passengers side.
I was doing some maintenance yesterday so I checked the brakes and everything looked good. I readjusted the parking brake, in case that was an issue.
I was rotating the wheel hubs and noticed that the rear passenger rotates much more freely/ easily than the rear drivers side. It would rotate about 3/4 turn and then get very difficult.
Is this a sign of a bad part? Bad wheel bearing maybe? Not too sure what would casue this or why this side would be running so hot.
