I bought 2 of these remotes after reading thru this thread - Upgraded Flip Ker Remote for Toyota keyless entry clicker fob HYQ12BBX DOT CHIP | eBay
Took the blanks to my local Toyota dealer and ended up buying another spare original key while I was there since they only charged $30 for them. They were able to cut the new key and both the flip blanks using the key code. $32 out the door with tax.
Got home and I was able to successfully program the new Toyota key and one flip fob for the immobilizer chip. I guess it will only take 3 total. I was also able to program the flip fob remote for lock, unlock and to open the hatch window.
I have been trying to reprogram the fobs to unlock all doors with a single press but haven't been able to do that successfully. I like the flip fob tho. Not too bulky and everything on it works as it should. Getting the roll pins in was a pain tho.

I think you can program up to 4 or 5 fobs and keys, I hit the limit too and had to erase them all and then add them back in. Its pretty easy.

Not sure if it's different by model year or not. I believe I read that it was a max of 3 chipped keys and 4 fob remotes for my 2003. Could be wrong tho.
The main thing I would like to do is reprogram the fobs to unlock all doors with a single click instead of the double click I have now. It's rather annoying. I was able to program all doors to lock when you shift out of park and then all doors unlock when you shift into park. That was nice.

i bought the flip key fob, just to see how big it was, its a little bulk for me, also sticks out close to the wiper stalk. programming is easy when you have the techstream software. sticking with the original keys, its easy to program and delete keys with the techstream software.

Just did this with my 07 sr5 and it works flawlessly, Ordered the cheap one from Cali off of EBay, got the keyblade cut at Lowe’s for freesies (Lowe’s employee was hesitant at first but did it anyways) followed the instructions in this thread for programming the fob and key, and boom, new switchblade style key fob, thanks to the OP for this, I’m trying to lighten up my key chain also! 👍🏽👍🏽 I have about 15 bucks invested in this for anyone who wants to know.

My key from the beginning of this thread is still going strong. Just double checked, I bought mine in Nov '16. Still working flawlessly on the original batteries. Seeing this thread on the front page every now and then is great reminder of how good these knock-offs are, what a value.

I was able to program both the fob and key without issues. My only gripe with the fob is that it's easy to accidentally press the buttons if you stick it in your pants pocket sometime. Usually flips the key out in your pocket but I've rolled down the rear window a few times too. I try to be a little more aware when I throw the fob into a pocket now, so not a big deal really.

Has anyone tried replacing the battery in the fob from the OP? Mine's still going strong after more than 2.5 years but I figure we'll have to replace the battery at some point.

It does seem like it would not ever break off the key chain, which is why I bought one of these in the first place, as I kept breaking the plastic fobs. There is also no panic button but some may find that's a benefit.
To be honest though, I'm not sure which one I'm going to use yet. I do like the idea of the smallest possible, which would be the VW.

It can only be programmed to roll the back window down, not up. Any of the keys that have the trunk one can do the rear window.

The one I linked to above I had to combine with Camry key guts (to get the trunk button) but kept the piece that allowed it to be programmed to my 4runner and the rear window roll down feature works.
